What makes us different from the competition is our psychology assessments. Advantage Psychology can diagnose a mental health illness as well as conducting cognitive and ability testing. This gives you a thorough and comprehensive understanding.

Advantage Psychology has continued to work closely with large job capacity account providers by providing counseling services to a wide variety of clients on Centerlink benefits.

Programs are generally provided on a six-session basis.

An initial assesment is conducted during the first appointment followed by five sessions of treatment. A comprehensive and detailed report that focuses on return to work barriers is then sent to the referrer at the conclusion of treatment.

Results obtained from cognitive and ability testing provides job capacity assessors with specific information in relation to appropriate job network and Personal Support Program (PSP) services for clients. These include IQ scores, identifying learning difficulties, recommendations for retraining options and the sustainability of specific employment environments.
